Dye-sensitised Solar Cell (DSC) technologies are on the brink
of commercialisation.
Prof. Tsutomu (Tom) Miyasaka & Prof.Shozo Yanagida Conference Joint Chairpersons
It is my great pleasure to invite you to the 3rd INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THE INDUSTRIALISATION OF DSC, which is being held from April 22 to April 24, 2009 in the beautiful city of Nara, Japan.
This conference will build on the success of our previous conferences DSC-IC 2007 in St Gallen and DSC IC 2006 in Canberra and will once again bring together scientists, engineers, industrialists, investors and others active and/or interested in DSC technologies. Very much aligned with the significant increase in DSC development efforts worldwide, the key objective of this 3rd DSC-IC is to strengthen the DSC community at large and to assist the numerous DSC commercialization programs in particular.
Joint Chairpersons, Professor Tsutomu (Tom) Miyasaka and Professor Shozo Yanagida will be joined by top academic, institutional, government and industry experts in DSC technology from around the world delivering presentations. We expect a participation of over 300 delegates in the field of DSC.
The conference will be of significant advantage to investors and analysts seeking real data on DSC. Manufacturers considering including DSC in their product ranges will hear case studies of companies already in the field. Product designers and architects will gain insight into the real advantages of DSC compared to classical photovoltaics. Researchers will gain an understanding of the key industrial criteria to enable better direction of R&D. Students will benefit from a holistic overview of all aspects of DSC.
The technical program includes Plenary, Keynote, and Short Lectures, as well as Poster presentations. Moreover, attractive social/cultural programs & performances will be organized for delegates and partners during the conference.
Dyesol is proud once again to be lead sponsor of the 3rd DSC Industrialisation Conference.
